A little about me...

I'm Stacey Smith, lifestyle photographer living in Cincinnati, Ohio. Chaser of sunsets and of little people. I've been creating and crafting for as long as I can remember. Working with families and preserving the unique connection between loved ones is everything I could've dreamed of. My style of photography is very relaxed and go-with-the-flow. I love letting the kids lead, because that's where the real magic happens.

Becoming a mama and having my own little people has amplified how crazy important savoring the current season is. I love soaking in the everyday moments of life at home with my people. Which always involves cooking in the kitchen, playing in the garden, intermittent dance parties while daddy plays guitar, and kissing the occasional boo-boo. I know life is messy and chaotic and I'm here to capture all the moments in between.

my whole world: jake, juniper, wesley and luna.

A few fun facts:

.01

Jake and I were high school sweethearts. We went to University of Cincinnati (DAAP) together and majored in graphic design. We now dream of sleeping through the night.

.02

Baking is my biggest stress relief and the other great love of my life. Sourdough is always in my bread box...and I make a mean dark chocolate chip sourdough cookie.

.03

Being in the garden is my happy place. Eating food we grow is rewarding, and I love witnessing how much the kids enjoy getting their hands dirty. Favorite plants to grow: Zucchini and Zinnias.

.04

I'm often running on coffee and little sleep, but I will always stay up late to binge watch TV and have some alone time. Best show of all time: The Office.

Why hire a lifestyle photographer?

Because life is what you want captured. Life in all its beautiful chaos. Snuggling on the couch, playing with chalk and riding scooters, exploring at the local park, the occasional toddler meltdown followed by the sweetest hugs. I know that motherhood is messy, but oh so gorgeous. I'll thoughtfully capture the sweetest moments for you to hold onto forever.
